data verification dvd double layer

I have burned a dvd +R double layer and the data verification failed with the detailed message "device not ready"
the buring software was cdburnerxp on an asus laptop n752vx.
has somone already burned dvd double layer with successfull data verification by using cdburnerxp?

My experience with DL DVD blanks is - it's depend on the blank, mostly. Try another brand / batch. Try another app - eg, make ISO and burn it from Windows. In the past, I've recommended ImgBurn, but last time I've tried to install it, it came with many "presents" which make me not in love anymore.
