I have sony dav dz 350 5.1 channel hometheater.......n samsung smart led tv .....I want to hear audio from harddisk connected to my tv in surroung nature.... (since it is not loading in dvd player) .....should I use hdmi cable...if yes how to set it up

You can connect the optical audio output of the TV to the optical input on the Sony. That will give you sound from the TV. Check the TV menu to see how to activate the optical audio output and set it to output in surround sound.
HMDI or USB won't work.
