I have a Lenovo Ideapad y510p. Suddenly my USB 3.0 ports stopped working. I plug in my mouse, it lights up but I can't move the cursor with it. The USB 2.0 port works fine but both the USB 3.0 ports have this problem. I have tried various methods to install the USB 3.0 drivers and have reached a dead end.

If I try to install the 3.0 drivers directly off their website, I am displayed " This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software". I even booted up by disabling signature enforcement and then tried to install but it didn't work. Please help me. I can charge my phone through my usb 3.0 slots but my devices don't get recognised.

Solution
windows 8.1 right? I know for windows 7 there is a Microsoft fixit program on the Microsoft website that will detect and solve your usb port issue hopefully.
