Solved! Dropped picture when cable box runs for a bit

I have a problem through my cable box and receiver getting dropped picture, reset TV and it's ok for a min or 2. When I watch my android box also connected to receiver it's fine. Switch hdmi on the back of receiver still samething. Hook up cable box to tv and it's fine. Never had an issue for years and all of a sudden. Could this be and overheating issue? I've read about the HDMI splitters and HDCP problems could this be the issue? I just don't understand how this is a problem now.

What did your cable company say when you contacted them about this?

I had a similar issue.
For a few weeks, my TV box would drop the picture.
Last week, it finally quit completely.

It was the FiOS converter box on the side of the house.

Call your provider and see what they say.
