Dvd video doesnt work on laptop

Hello,
I have an issue with a DVD that I am trying to watch. The DVD refuses to play on my computer and when it does, it comes out pixelated and I can't hear the audio.

The DVD is not ripped and was bought new.

Please help!

Is this an issue with just one DVD? If so, what is the DVD?
What OS and software are you using to play the DVD?
