dvd won't open asus tower..no hole for a paperclip

help ..I cannot find any holes near the dvd/cd player for the paperclip trick. I've rebooted, and I've clicked on the manual eject button as well as the eject eject button
 


 
People need to figure out how post so that a quote and reply appear in the same post, instead of two separate posts. Maybe it's a "phone thing". I have no such issue on a laptop. 😀

I think that was the point clutchc was trying to make by asking for a photo, too.

 


Exactly. My neighbor recently called me over to try to open her optical drive on some low end Dell desktop. Damn thing looked like it had a drive, but it was just a dummy face-plate made to look like a drive. Deceptive sales practice, IMO.
