Fujitsu Amilo 2727 li, won't boot, not able to re-install windows

it will not boot into windows vista home basic 32bit, goes past splash screen, the microsoft corperation loading screen, then goes to a blank page with a cursor (that I can move, it is not frozen). I have tried installing vista again through cd(tried newley burnt cope) and usb thumb drive, press F12 at splash screen, select disk drive, then press any key to boot from cd, then the microsoft corperation loading screen, then blank page with cursor (that I can move, it is not frozen). really starting to annoy me, wonder if anyone could offer any kind suggestions?
