I have a polaroid 3-42-14 smart tv. The sound quality is quite poor in my opinion and I was wondering if it was possible to use my bush sb800 sound bar for sound? If so what cables do I need to use?

What's plugged into your TV? BLue Ray player, game console, cable receiver? Gotta know that first.

You need to get an auxilary audio source somewhere to plug into that soundbar.

Sorry, pressed 'solution' by accident. But I have a Blu ray player and sky box connected to it. Also what kind of auxilary audio source?

I don't think your TV has an audio out, so you would have to get it from your blueray player and sky box. The left right red/white RCA audio out form those into a 3.5mm input on the sound bar. That's a pretty common cable.

There is a video and audio out on the sky box. Yellow for video, red/white for audio. You need a cable that goes from red/white RCAs to a single 3.5mm to plug into your soundbar. From the pictures you sent it looks like there are 3 3.5mm outputs on the soundbar, so 1 for the skybox, another for the blueray player.
