Hi,
as the title puts it, I bought a HDD Caddy to replace the ODD of my Toshiba Satellite L850-13D. First I bought a universal Caddy and it wasn't recognized anywhere so I bought one from HDDCaddy.com that was specific to my laptop.

The thing is, the HDD in this Caddy isn't being recognized either, tried it in a Sony Vaio, it worked perfectly with the same HDD I tried on my laptop. Could this somehow be the motherboard fault? bte mine is a InsydeH20 updated to the final available version 6.80

Thanks in advance

Solution
The BIOS lacks in many ways so my only options for anything related to SATA are performance or battery life mode and I can change between AHCI and compatibility (IDE)..
