Solved! HDMI doesn't connect sound from Acer laptop

When I connect the HDMI cord to my laptop, an Acer with windows 10, from a Samsung flat screen, the video comes on but the sound doesn't, it stays playing through my laptop speakers. I right click and go to playback but nothing for HDMI shows up. Help??

Once you have the cable hooked up, under the laptop audio control panel, a new device named Samsung blah-blah should show up. Click it.
