Hi, will this work to connect 2560 x 1080 LG wide screen monitor to Lenovo VGA laptop?
Plugable USB 3.0 Dual-Head Graphics and Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (HDMI up to 2560x1440 and DVI / VGA 1920x1200. Supports Windows 10, 8.1, 7, XP)

Yes it does. So is there another solution I can use then a VGA/HDMI convertor. Not familiar with mini display ports.

Perfect thank you! Much cheaper too. So would the following work? It is 1080p but says maximum 1920 x 1080. Bit confused as the monitor is 2560 x 1080.
