HDTV no sound with HDMI cable

I'm running a Scientific Atlanta cable box to a Sony KDL 32L504 HDTV and I am not able to get any sound with the picture. Is there some default on the TV that needs to be reset?

Check the menu on the cable box to select audio via HDMI.
