Hello,
I've been wondering it's possible to connect this audio system (images below) to my PC so I can get surround sound, I hope this is the right section.
It's a VERY old Sony STR-KSL 600, it works great and I've been using it on my PS3 but now I want to use it on my PC.

Here's the back of the SONY STR-KSL 600:

Here are images of the back of my monitor(LG 23EA63) :

Thanks in advance for all the help, I'm a complete noob at this .

Solution
Hi Exilarius
do you have speakers plugged into the rear onboard audio , if you do then get a 3.5mm stereo splitter like this

so you can still plug in and use your pc speakers , then from the other 3.5mm socket
a 3.5mm male to dual RCA like this

and the dual rca ends to the audio in on the sony SONY STR-KSL 600

I'm pretty sure it's the onboard audio, the only card I have below is the Graphics Card

Hey mickypheonix,

This might work , yes I do have speakers and your solution does make sense.
Thank you very much !
