How do I hook up older Pioneer Receiver to Samsung LED TV ?

How do I hook up older (purchased in 2002) Pioneer DVD/CD Receiver (XV-HTD520) to Samsung LED Smart TV Model 5201, with Xfinity Cable box. Using HDMI cord to connect cable box to TV to watch TV, but can't figure out receiver cables to be able to use receiver/DVD player.

You can use a COAX digital input or analog stereo inputs. The TV has a digital optical output for audio. You could get an optical to coax converter -- http/www.amazon.com/Digital-Optical-Toslink-Coaxial-Converter/dp/B000I98ZQY That would let you connect the audio out. If you want the video from the DVD player, the Pioneer has a yellow composite video output. The TV has a compositve video in.

Where on the receiver do I plug it in? Have equalizer, cd player, and dvd player/recorder connected already.

In the middle bottom of the back of the unit there is a "digital in" according to the pictures I have found
