How to backup data from my Toshiba satellite laptop which it's HDD is about to crush?
Should I use flash drive or disc? And how?

Solution
Hi there stevekachal,

You have two options:
1st one - Get another HDD, attach it externally with SATA to USB cable and make an exact copy of your current drive on it as scout_03 already suggested. Most of the HDD manufacturers have their own HDD cloning tool. The problem with this approach is that if some data was corrupted on your current drive, it will get transferred to your new one. This is why a clean install is always advisable.
2nd one - back up the most important data from your current HDD and perform a clean OS install. You can do so with just the copy/paste approach.

Hope this will help,
