My new Roku 3 is now hooked to my viewsonic (No HDMI only a VGA Input). Everything seems fine until I try to stream from Amazon, or Crackle or Netflix. Then I get the HDCP message- I do get good sound.
I have seen this scenario kicked around with many helpful fixes, but I have not found any to be reliable yet.
Does anyone KNOW what will work. Please don't tell me to try different HDMI cables, reverse the connectors, turn ON/OFF the power supply to any component. BTDT.
I am willing to buy another splitter/stripper, but I'd really like for it to be the real and reliable fix to stream HDCP protected content.
Thanks in advance.
