I have a new HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G1 laptop. This usually remains docked in the docking station and has a USB head set connected at the back of docking station. Sometimes I want to connect my better headset via the 35mm jack directly in to the headphone jack of the laptop and listen to audio from this, without having to unplug the USB headphone from the back. This doesn't work as audio remains on USB, until I pull that out of the back. Is there a way to get audio out of both headphones?
Appreciate any help on this.
Is there a way to get audio out of both headphones simultaneously? No. But you can switch between both headsets without un plugging one of them
In windows, go to your sound icon on the taskbar. Right click and go to playback devices. From there you can see and control all your sound devices.
thank you so much.....I have 2 really nice USB headsets that would only work with Skype and VSee but nothing else and it was driving me crazy.....now they work :-D you made my day, week, month :-D thank you
