broke ellipsis tablet lg /verizon can i retrieve data from sims card?. Power doesnt stay on very long,

The SIM most likely won't have any of that data. It is housed on the device's internal storage. So unless you can get the device to stay on long enough that you can connect it to say a computer via USB, and move the data over from the device, or to email it or upload it to a cloud account, there would be no other way to get it.
