Solved! HP Elite 8570p keyboard and touchpad lags/pauses

Hello,

I have a weird problem. My keyboard and touchpad would pause/lag every second, not only in Windows but also in BIOS. So for example, if I would press and hold let's say letter F, it would type for like a second, then pause, then type for a second, the pause, etc. Same thing happens when I move my course in circles. It would pause in about a second and then continue.

What I have done so far:

1). Testing RAM with a built-in tester didn't find any problems.
2). Removing and replugging keyboard/touchpad cables
3). Tried different keyboard from another laptop and same problem

So something tells me that it could be a motherboard???

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

Yes. External works just fine

Then there is likely a problem with the keyboard. Something got on/in it. It is not connected correctly (loose), or the keyboard just needs replacing.
