Hello,
Hi i need to ask you. I am buying laptop, And bit confused between these two, One got better GPU and other got better CPU.
HP laptop: i7 6600U and Nvidia Geforce 940M 2GB DDR3L
ASUS Laptop: i7 4720HQ and Nvidia Geforce GTX 950M 2GB DDR3

Other configs are same i.e. 8GB RAM and 1TB. Price is also almost same.
Please help me with this, which one should i buy.
Needed for games only Like FIFA 15, GTA V, NFC, COD Mordern Warfare etc.
PS, I can deal with normal/ medium graphics but don't want to games to hang.

Hi,

Actually both laptops are capable enough to run those games. For example GTA V recommended settings for it's graphics card is a NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB. You shouldn't worry about this 2 laptop when it come with game performance.

Actually, the ASUS has both better GPU and CPU than the HP. Get the ASUS.

Actually, the GTX 660 is a DESKTOP GPU. The graphics cards in both laptops (Geforce GTX 950M and Geforce 940M) are significantly weaker than a desktop 660, coming nowhere near the recommended requirements for GTA V. They do meet the minimum requirements. 😀
