On the bottom toolbar a camera and cog icon keep flashing. I do not know why this is the case. I am running Kaspersky anti virus software so this should not be a virus. Please assist with recommendations on fixing it

Try hovering over the icon to see what it says it is. Manufacturers like to load bloat onto new machines so it wouldn't be at all surprising if it were some kind of proprietary backup utility or something just trying to get your attention and/or a reminder to create a backup. Could also be something that got installed with something else you installed, this is also common when installing things and not being careful about what else it installs.

The icon flashes for a very short time less than a second. Too fast for screen shot, I have tried. It seems to appear whenever I open a new windows it flashes. Tried hovering above it and clicking on it but it disappears before you can catch it.
