I bought my Turtle Beach P11's for $40 CAD from futureshop few years ago and used it on Ps3 for the longest time. When I switched to PC I still used it daily as I loved the quality and comfort of the mic/headset and especially the mic monitoring (where you can hear yourself speaking). However it broke few months back, and have been using my ATH m50's for gaming without mic.

I am looking for a similar PC gaming headset with mic and the mic monitoring feature for around $40 CAD. I would love to get a turtle beach however their prices have gone up quite a bit, especially here in Canada.

I welcome any and all suggestions!
Thanks

The Logitech G230 and G430 are good options. I owned the G930 which was the wireless equivalent. Had all the same core components. G230 only supports stereo where as the G430 and G930 support surround sound, which I hardly used anyway.

I didn't like the G230 or G430, both had pretty bad sound quality for the price, although the G430 is passable.
The Cloud Core is a much better headset imo.
The G933 is the high end wireless headphone by Logitech, nothing like the G430, think G633.

I loved my G930. Had a great mic. I recently replaced it a HyperX Cloud Revolver and their mic doesn't have nearly as good noise reduction or bass pickup as my 930. 930 and 430 have the same mics.

G930 and 430 are the same headset. The 930 supports wireless and has macro buttons, that's where the similarities end.

Oh, read it as G933, my bad! :p
Yeah the G930 is near identical, but not quite the same as the G430, sounds a little better.
Still, neither have fantastic sound quality imo, the Clouds are much better for the price.
I can't comment on the microphone though! :)
