My Asus laptop X555L will not turn on and there appears to be no power. It has an internal battery and not able to remove it. When I plug in the charger there are no lights indicating it is charging no lights at all anywhere!. I bought a new power cord and it worke BUT again suddenly the same problem happened all over again.

Try bringing your unit to Geek Squad so you can try another power adapter and outlet without having to buy one. You can also try holding the power button for 30 seconds with the power cord unplugged then trying again. Otherwise your unit is covered for 12 months under the ASUS warranty. Give us an update! Thank you for replying but I have already bought a new power cord and when I went to Memory Express they said they don't carry the parts for that model and send it directly to Asus out east. As I did not purchase an extended warranty the dealer really does not seem to want to help. I felt brushed off
