i have Toshiba satellite laptop L505 my mouse touch pad and the keyboard suddenly freeze and doesn't work i tried to restart it many times with and without battery but in vain also tried connecting wired and wireless usb mouse but also in vain although it appears on the screen reading my usb drive of the mouse but can move nothing
also tried crtl + F5, Fn + F5, WinKey + w but all that were in vain

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to do a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If the same problem will persist do try loading the laptop into BIOS and see if it will work or not.
- If BIOS will still not load and since the USB keyboard and mouse will still not work that could mean it's a hardware problem already.
- Do try contacting Toshiba support first specially if the laptop is still under the factory warranty for a repair.
