Hi!!

I really need help! Im on a really tight budget and my 8year old laptop's about to die soon. I have an old desktop as spare, but I really want to upgrade it.

Here are its specs:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6700
AMD Radeon HD 5670 GDDR5
4x1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 RAM
2x 160GB WD HDD
ASUS P5B-E PLUS Motherboard

Is it possible to upgrade the video card, power supply, storage and memory without changing the motherboard? What I currently have in mind is:

WD Carviar Black 500GB 7200RPM
MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card
Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866 MHz CL9 8GB
Corsair RM Series 650W Gold Full Modular

Questions:
Is there anything I can change so that my budget doesn't go over $400? What GPU should I get to replace the current one(If it's possible?)? I don't need alot of storage so the chose the 500GB, however there's a smaller one called SSD, what's the difference between SSD and HDD? Will the performance decrease if I were to choose an SSD? What's the best Graphics card to get now, so when I can afford one, I can add on with the SLI/Crossfire configuration.

I just need a gaming rig that can play games like blackshot, dota2 and LoL on high settings.

Thank you so much in advance!

Yeah sure you can upgrade it but dont expect a large different with that processor. It's so old, it can't hold its own with that mammoth of a GPU.

I dunno why you'd settle with a 500GB hard drive. 1TB hard drives often cost the same or less. No need to compromise. Anyway, this build I whipped up went a little bit over budget, is that okay?
