I new ZTE obsidian says out of storage even with a 32gb SD card

I have one of the newest ZTE phones it's about three months old I started getting this message saying my phone was running ou

If it's running the latest version of Android Marshmallow, look in Settings>More>Storage and check whether the SdCard is set to Portable Storage or Internal.

Then in the Application Manager, see if you can move any Apps to the SdCard and mo9ve your music or photos over there to free up internal space.
