Inspiron 1545 black screen

I have an Inspiron 1545, screen stays black, but I have been able to install a second external usb screen. The PC is working fine. It looks like the 3mm fuse is okay. Backlight from the screen broken?
Do I need to replace the power source to the screen, or replace the screen?
If you buy another screen, would that be delivered included the power print?

If you shine a flashlight over the screen of your laptop and you'll see a display that means the backlight is dead and I would suggest just replacing the entire screen.
