Internet Explorer Won\'t Start in XP

I downloaded internet explorer * onto my xp but it will not open when clicking the icon or in the all programs menu and It does not show up in the control panel list--help please--I need it for an online class this morning--thank you

IE8 is the last version that will run on XP. If you downloaded version 9 or 10, it won't work.

If you download I. E 9 in windows XP it might be possible he is not compatibility to work windows XP. So in my personnel opinion you start your work with Google Chrome. if you have any difficulty with this browser you can get help from Google Chrome Technical Support team at any time
