I would like to know, the iPod touch 4g,

What format does it record video in and in what bitrate
What format does it take photos in
What format does it record voice memos in and in what bitrate

Not really...looking for exact bitrates

Don't want to end up getting an iPod touch, film a whole bunch of stuff to find that they are uncompressed into some 1GB files

It records video in .mov format when i record videos on it, it shows a total bitrate of around 10500kbps in most cases.

It captures photos in .jpg format.

It records voice memos in .m4a format and a bitrate of 64kbps.

So...10500kbps in .mov...?!

Wow...to record a minute of video would require 60MB. To record an hour would require 3.6GB of space!!~~
