How bright did you set the screen to? 50%?

The RMA is for returning an item for a refund or an exchange for a replacement. It the warranty that applies to repairs. Since it is a recently purchased laptop it's simply better to get a refund or exchange it for another new Acer Predator.

Check out reviews at Newegg and Amazon for the laptop to see if there are a lot of complaints about the screen.

There is no software fix.
