Is the iPad useful?

Hello everybody,

I will be a college student this coming fall and I'm planning on buying an iPad, I already have a lenovo z570 so the iPad will not be used as a laptop replacement.
I wanted to know what are some things that you use your iPad for?
Do you use it everyday?
And if you disagree with buying one, please explain why?

For most people with normal home office or school workloads an iPad is NOT a laptop replacement.
But you can use it for most of your casual web surfing, video watching, social networking and email tasks. It does all of those quite well.

It's only fair when you start asking it to multi-task more demanding workloads.
