Is there a store that I can walk into and get my headphones fixed?

One side of the speakers has blown out and I don't want to send it to a company because than I will have to pay for shipping and wait longer. Is there like an electronic store I can walk into or a store in the mall.

It's quite hard to fix headphones usually and companies would probably charge you quite a bit it's probably cheaper to buy new ones, there is plenty of youtube tutorials on how to fix headphones depending on the kind. You could also temporarily fix it but it doesn't really work that well.

If it truly is a blown driver, then your best bet would be to send it to the manufacturer. If it is a torn/split cable, that is a different story. Depending on how confident you are with a soldering iron and how nice of a cable it had to begin with, you may be able to solder on a new cable as a temporary fix.

That is what I had to do with my Shure E5's from their inherent cable rot. Soldering on a new cable lasted long enough for be to get a new pair of IEM's.
