I have an HP Pavilion TS 15" laptop, that's all Windows gives me for the model #...
I have an LG BH6720S home theater system (I heard those aren't very popular in this community, especially when compared to actual receivers, etc.)
I also have a Samsung UN50H5203AFXZA Smart TV.
As of right now, I have the laptop hooked up to the TV with an HDMI cable, with audio going from the TV to the receiver via an optical cable. I don't have an optical output on my laptop, nor do I have an external sound card.
Windows 10 is only allowing me to choose stereo sound on my TV as the audio out, so I'm hoping I can get 5.1 somehow without buying anything else. Thanks!
