Is thyere video survalance to surviel my office and upload via email

ok im wondering is trhere any preferab;y free software but paid is ok to that will use my webcam to see if anyone comes into my office while im not home and upload video motion detect and upload via email so if someone steals my computer i will know who

i tried getting insurance but im not so sure they would cover my my computer since it is custome build by me so i need some sort of software i believe

You have a bit of an issue here. A "webcam" will run on your computer, so if someone steals it, what will email you?

Many webcams come with video software that should do what you want, although the motion detect part has to be built into the web cam so it will start recording when it senses something in it's path.

well, thats what i mean somthin that detects motion like someone coming into the office then it take snapshots ect and email instantly as it takes um one or two would get through surly, or heck if theres an affordable stand alone system but hell that be vunerable to

Maybe you can try Webcam Watchdog

It is free, and it can detect motion, record the alarm video in hte cloud, and notify you by email. You can find more info and download at

http://www.hootoo.com/ has a good program for their wireless cameras and not only does it detect motion it also sends both video and pictures to your email as well as being able to view the premise "Live".
