Kingston hyperX cloud headset needs more power to perform good?

hello. If i buy a pair of the kingston hyperX cloud headset, will i need to buy a sound card to power it? In a review someone said that it sounded much better with a sound card. if i need to buy one, is there any cheap sound card that will do the job?

I'm using the Asus M5A97 R2.0 (NOT the EVO edition).

No need for an audio card. The headset should work just fine wit the onboard.
