Laptop battery wont charge

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will still not work, do test the AC adapter. Remove the battery off the laptop then connect it directly to it's AC adapter and see if it will boot up normally without it shutting down by itself.
- Next to try is to install the battery while the laptop is on and see if it will charge the battery or not.
- If it will still not work, uninstall/reinstall the battery driver from Device Manager.
- Lastly, do try a different AC adapter that has the same voltage and see if it will charge the battery or not.
