Laptop for school

Hello, does anyone have any ideas of a good laptop to take too class? I'm looking in the $600 to $800 price range and I would also like to have a backlit keyboard with decant battery life. Any ideas?

For classes/notes? Try to look for a refurb Surface Pro 3 if you can, if not you can settle on a Surface 3. Literally nothing better for classroom use! (except the Surface Pro 4 )
