I have a asus rog g752 laptop with gtx 970m gpu. I play csgo on it and i attach an external monitor and i use that to play. On my external monitor, my csgo gets around 250-300fps on high settings but when i play on my laptops monitor, i only get 100 plus minus 10. Even if i turn video quality to low. Anyone know what is going on?

I'm no expert with GPU's, but I do know a few things.

It seems like your laptop is using the integrated graphics when playing with the built-in monitor, and the GPU with the external monitor. This is because the GPU is force-used when HDMI is connected to a display.
