I'm about to be a freshman in college and I need a laptop that can handle all my digital art needs. I need to run Photoshop CS6 and Paint tool Sai with ease. I would also like to be able to run programs like Dolphin and PCSX2 smoothly.
I need:
-IPS display
-At least "15
- Option to install SSD
-No heating/cooling fan problems (I don't want to have to buy a cooling fan)
-Preferably the latest nvidia graphics card
-Around $1300 or under (I can go up $1500 if absolutely necessary)

I've been looking at the GIGABYTE P35Kv3-CF1, the SAGER NP8671, and the ASUS ROG G751JL-DS71.

I'm kinda iffy on the ASUS because of how big it is and the fact that there's no removable battery. Can anybody help me make a decision or suggest any other computers?

Gigabyte is a relative newcomer to the gaming laptop arena. Their early efforts have been decent, but I'd stick to a more tried-and-tested manufacturer.

Perhaps consider the Alienware 17:

At this price, the traditionally overpriced Alienware laptop becomes a viable purchase, due to that incredible GTX 970M GPU, which more closely resembles a desktop card than a regular laptop card.

The 15" version is also good here.

This MSI GT72 barebones also comes equipped with a GTX 970M:
