Hi all,
After reading pretty much this entire forum, I see I should have thought through how I was going to deal with my LDs a bit more. But here I am today with a decent HDTV by RCA, an Onkyo TX727 and a Pioneer CLD-626.
I am trying to decide on what the best solution is that isn't too expensive.
Do I
1) Invest in a very high quality composite video cable, calibrate and wish for the best
2) Try to find a DVDO Pro for twice that cost
3) Get an DVDO AND a CLD-D704.
4)? Something I haven't thought of?
Suggestions and comments appreciated.
Tz

Unksol,
Thanks for the response and suggestion!
Yes, the obvious answer is to upgrade. However, about 1/3 of my laserdisc collection is not available on either format you mention, nor on DVD or any other digital service. So, until the time that all of those items are available, I continue to need a solution other than replacement.
Looking forward to hearing what else others may be thinking.

Thanks!
Tz
