I just purchased an Pioneer LD-V8000, and I've got a question about
getting digital audio out of it, since it only has analog outputs. I
opened it up, and the lines going into the EFM port on the back are
labeled Ground, EFM, "L SQ" and "R SQ." Are these the digital tracks?
If not, is there a way to retrieve the digital tracks from that
module?

Otherwise, does anyone know the procedure for getting digital output
from within the player? Since precisionlaserdisc isn't around
anymore, I can't just order a kit. (I'm also interested in adding an
AC-3 output, but since I don't currently have an AC-3 demodulator it's
not that important.)
