Left stereo laptop speaker stopped working

I was playing a video game and the left speaker on my laptop just stopped working all of a sudden, I wasn't even sure it stopped working at first, but as i started turning around in the game i noticed the stereo being gone. After about a week it turned on for a minute or so and stopped working again. I tried messing with the balance in windows, nothing happens, i tried using AIMP and If i balance it to the left speaker the right one just becomes quieter. I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

I have an HP Probook 455 G1, Windows 10, 64 bit

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the sound driver.
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the Sound Driver.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.

- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- Lastly, do reinstall Windows 10 and if the same problem will persist do send if for a repair specially if it's still under the factory warranty.

Reinstalling drivers didn't help, I'l see if I'm going to reinstall windows 10, thank you anyway.
