LENOVA G50-70 notr working on DC

My lenova G50-70 battery is not charging, but I am able to work on laptop with power adapter. With direct plugin with adapter only I am able to work and not with the help of battery

Hi,

If the laptop is working normally with the AC adapter connected that could mean that there's a problem with the battery already. Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may also help.
- First, do reseat the battery from the laptop. Take it off for a second while it's connected to it's AC adapter then put it back in and see if it will charger or not.
- If it will not work do test if the laptop will stay on with just the AC adapter connected and the battery off it. If it will stay on with just the AC adapter connected that means it's working properly and the battery needs to be replaced.
- But if the laptop will not stay on while connected to the AC adapter only that means it's the AC adapter that needs the replacement.
