lenovo flex 10 refusing to turn on

My Lenovo laptop is refusing to turn on. I've tried putting it on charge, but the light at the side, that usually shows it's on, or charging ; hasn't displayed at all. I really need some help please from someone who knows how

Try this:

Take out the battery, plug the charger into the laptop and hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds.

After it boots put the battery back in and let it charge.
