Hi, recently I got Lenovo Y520, but i am having some problems. I installed CS:GO. When i play my fps is wandering arround generally 120 and 130 fps, but cpu usage is about %55 while gpu usage is %45. How can I use my notebook's full potential? Thanks for any help in advance.

I got the same laptop. With the i5 7300hq and 1060 max-q. Got the same fps. Sometimes drops to below 90. I found that using a external monitor gives me 200 fps. When connected to a monitor it uses only the dedicated grapichs.

It might be a limit set on power throttling the system.
The manufacturer may have set a power limit (e.g. 15W) and when the system exceed the limit it start throttling.
Usually that happens when you do graphic intensive tasks.
Install Intel XTU and run a stress test and see if the system start to throttle.

I downloaded DDU and removed Nvidia driver, then downloaded Nvidia driver from Lenovos website. Much improvement. Got around 120-200 fps. Depends on map. Also my battery run time has tripled. Before my laptop was using gpu when browsing web. Ran hot and noisy. But I can still see that I have about 60% gpu usage and 30% Intel graphics ingame in CS GO
