LG, Ethernet & Cablebox

I'm about to mount my tv on the living room wall and I have cable. I'm thinking that in order to connect my smart tv which will involve the internet through Ethernet. Will I need anything else connection-wise to complete the tv so that it not only airs cable but also browse the internet?

Your TV might be WIFI enabled, or may require (or benefit from) a wired connection. IF you can provide a wired connection, your performance with streaming video will be better.
