LG Optimus G E970 AT&T. Battery life ?

i got a new phone 2 days back and i'm having problems with the battery life.
the battery seems to drop around 10 to 12% every hour. with no apps running in background.
and most of the time phone is in deep sleep.

now the question is. is it normal or there is something wrong with my phones battery ?

additional info.
1, the phone is running completely stock rom. [no root access]
2, I have tried factory resetting the phone twice. it didn't help.
3. i have no apps installed.
4, no network issues where i live.
5, i tried turning the wifi off when idle. it showed no difference.
6, mobile data, bluetooth, nfc off.
7, Eco mode is on.
8, screen brightness is at 60%

if any other info is requried please let me know.
your help would be really appreciated.
i can get the phone exchanged with the same model with in 7 days.

I GOT THE PHONE REPLACED. ITS MUCH BETTER WITH THE NEW ONE. ONLY 1 TO 2% BATTERY DOWN EVERY HOUR WHEN NOT IN USE. COMPARE TO 10 TO 12% WITH THE FIRST FAULTY ONE.
