Hello All,

I have a Mac Mini and my old Altec Lansing speakers have bit the dust. So, I just bought a pair of M-Audio AV40. Simple enough to hook up, sure. BUT, I happen to also have an old JBL s120Pii collecting dust, so I thought why not see if I can put it to good use? I just need to know the wiring schematic of it all.

What goes where? Here's what I **think** I need, but I'm not sure:

1/8" to RCA from Mac to Subwoofer Line In

and this from subwoofer's High Level Out to AV40 Line In

Will this "work?"

Thanks in advance!

You need to split the headphone out of the mac mini so you have two stereo outputs.

One connects to the line input on the subwoofer and the other to the line input on the speakers.
You need two cables with 3.5mm stereo mini plug to 2 RCA plugs.
The only speaker wire you need is to connect the unpowered M-audio to the one with the amps built in.
