Memory card error card locked.

I feel like I have tried everything. The card is NOT locked with the tab thing. My computer will not read it my camera says memory card error card locked. please tell me I haven't lost my pictures. I tried tape over the tab. can someone please give me something helpful to try.

I had pictures printed at Sam's Club and a cd made. When I tried using my camera I got the Card Locked message. Take the card our of the camera and look at the from left side and it has a little tab that shows lock. Slide that tab back to the unlock position and it should be ok. Mine is working fine now.
