Memory card shows damaged

Hi all..2 days before my memory card(Strontium MicroSD-4GB) suddenly showed damaged and I lost most of the data.But again it worked yesterday and I got some lost data back.
I tried scanning for virus, recovery and all sorts of that i could. Should I replace it or if its my phone problem? I'm using Gionee M2. Thanks in advance.

The wife had a similar problem when she stuck a refrigerator magnet in the purse with her smartphone. Aside from a freak happening like that, it could be the card failing.

Still not sure how the magnet affected the flash card tho. I don't think they are susceptible to magnetic fields.
